I’m Harriet. I live in Brisbane, Australia, with my
fiancé husband Adam and our two cats, Molly and Lily. I’m an MPhil candidate in art history. The rest of my time is spent daydreaming about food, making food, reading and hangin’ out with the cats.
I’m insulin resistant, with food hypersensitivities to gluten and dairy (fun to be me, right?). All those obnoxious medical words mean is that I eat a mostly vegan, gluten-free diet (eggs and oats are a common exception), which also avoids oodles of sugar. I’m deeply committed to loving our planet, and get a kick out of minimising waste and environmental impact. I love wholefoods, and focus on the healthier side of things, but aim to cook and present them in a way which is possible to recreate and enjoy everyday. I want to make food that you love to eat, but also loves and respects the planet. See – I’m a total hippie.
